What’s ‘Schweinsteiger’ in Spanish?

Anyone who's watching the World Cup in the United States should flip the channel to Univision during any Germany match. It is worthwhile to do so simply to hear the announcer pronounce the name of the German winger, Bastian Schweinsteiger. It's absolutely brilliant.

What a first half of the Germany-Costa Rica game! I'm stunned. It remains to be seen whether Costa Rica's goal was really on side or not. But maybe that's my bias. The German attack looks good, even as the defense looks very shaky. I'm tilting my Becks to the German effort so far, though.

While we're talking about him, Schweinsteiger looks very strong on the left side, and the goal by Philip Lahm was so beautiful that it looks like it surprised even him. Lehmann, of course, is not to blame for that Costa Rican breakaway.

GOL! GOL! GOL! GOL! GOL!
