A Return to Postcard Wars

with 6 comments

Happy Independence Day, for those of you in the United States!

I’ve received complaints from all corners about how infrequently I now update Postcard Wars, and I can only nod my head in agreement. I will strive to do better and make a trip to the scanner soon to get all of your terrific postcards on the site for everyone to enjoy.

In the meantime, here are some photos from a recent trip to Boston — because what’s more patriotic than photos of Boston ahead of the Fourth of July?

  1. Who is your oft-present “assistant” on your road trips?

  2. The “assistant”/worker bee is Carolyn. On our travels she pulls more weight than I do, taking photos and coordinating flights and other such things. A very helpful partner.

  4. Add slays evil dragons with her bare hands and whips up delicious cookies to that list (because she is VERY domestic).

  5. One wonders what the blog-master has done to deserve such excellent accompaniment.

  6. Can you provide us any info on Becks and his debut in D.C. Big crowds and positive press has vaulted soccer over hockey, and in the future the other major sports filled w/ criminals, pill poppers and gambling degenerates. Biggest controversy here is why Becks still get’s attention from the national team that he’s contributed nothing.
